What this site is
Gold Rate Today In shows the day’s rates for gold, silver and platinum in 143 Indian cities and 35 other countries. Each page gives the rate by purity and by weight, the last ten days, month-by-month movements and up to ten years of history, along with calculators for jewellery bills and the value of what you already own.
The site is free to use. There are no accounts and nothing to sign up for.
Where the rates come from
Rates are refreshed at 12 am, 6 am and 6 pm India time, and through the morning, while the day’s rates are being published, they are checked every 15 minutes and updated as soon as they change. Indian gold rates follow each city’s market quotes at 24K, 22K and 18K. Silver and platinum use one rate for the whole country. For other countries we use the local board rate where one is published, and international prices converted at mid-market exchange rates where it isn’t. The full method is on the rates page.
All rates are indicative and shown before tax and making charges. Your jeweller’s board price, their making charge and the tax on the bill decide what you actually pay.

Gold Rate Today In is built and run by Codologies Pvt Ltd, a software company in Bengaluru, India. We don’t sell gold or jewellery, and we aren’t paid by jewellers to show their prices. The site is supported by advertising.
